Welcome

Welcome to St Nicholas-at-Wade Church of England Primary School.

A place to belong. A place to grow.

We are a one form entry school situated in the heart of the village of St. Nicholas at Wade at the edge of the Isle of Thanet.

Our belief at St Nicholas is to ensure that each child should feel valued and heard. They should have the very best opportunities for personal and spiritual development, which will allow them to flourish now, and in their future lives. They will be taught all the skills they need to forge strong positive relationships built on mutual respect and they will have the very best learning opportunities which enable them to experience success. My promise to you as your Headteacher is that I, along with the fabulous team at St Nicholas, will turn this belief into reality.

We do this through a vibrant exciting curriculum, that engages and motivates our children and by having dedicated teachers who insist that children are the best that they can be.  Whatever the subject, be it Mathematics, Sport, English,  Music or even Gardening every one at St Nicholas will shine. Every child is nurtured and supported whatever their age or stage of learning to ensure that they feel safe, happy and confident.

Our Christian values, of courage, honesty, resilience, kindness and be the Best you can be are at the heart of all that we do and inform how we treat our pupils, the grown ups in school, the parents and of course any visitors. This is a place where children feel a sense of belonging and are able to grow in all aspects.

Thank you for visiting our website. We think our school is a very special place - if you'd like to know even more please make an appointment and come and visit and get to know to know us even better.
