Please read the information below which gives details of our PE and Sport Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
The PE and School Sport Premium is government funding for physical education (PE) and sport in order to improve the quality of PE and sport provision in schools. It is allocated to all maintained and state-funded schools, with primary phase pupils.
The premium must be used to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of primary-aged pupils, to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.
The premium money received has doubled this year and will be £17,800.

The current ability of our year 6 swimmers is as follows:
Able to swim 25m | 15/30 |

As a member of Thanet passport the school is able to participate in a number of interschool sporting events during the year. We are also part of a professional network of sports leaders across the district.
